*We do not charge our customers any re-stocking or re-handling fees.

TO RETURN A PRODUCT DUE TO "CUSTOMERS CHANGE OF MIND"
which will cover any of the following reasons...

Color / Fabric / Product does not look right in your home
Color / Fabric / Product appears different from what you viewed on your computer
You ordered the wrong size - length or width
Product does not go with your home's decor", etc...

We endeavor to display the products and other images on our web site as accurately as possible. However, since we cannot control the capabilities and limitations of your monitor, web browser, and / or computer itself, we do not guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color, texture or detail of any actual merchandise will be accurate.

TO RETURN DAMAGED / Defective PRODUCTS RECEIVED OR WRONG ITEMS RECEIVED

*All Damaged or Defective Returns undergo an inspection process to determine the nature and cause of damage to item (s). LEGAL NOTICE

*You may exchange any item or items, for another / other items in a different size, color, or style.

**You may exchange any item or items, for a full refund of the products purchase cost, including the initial shipping charge. This Refund will be applied to the credit card you provided to us with your order.

***You may exchange any item for store credit if you wish.

Damaged or Wrong Items received:
Window Toppers will not only except the return, we will reimburse you the cost of mailing back the return to us through the USPS or UPS.
Then we will ship you the replacement immediately!
We pay for replacement shipping, of course.

In order for us to be able to compensate you for the cost of mailing back your Damaged / Defective or Wrong Item received, we must ask that you please mail it back to us using either of these two methods...

USPS - United States Postal Service
using Priority Mail Service or First Class Mail (depending on size of package)
or
UPS - Ground Delivery Service

We cannot reimburse customers for a Returned Shipping Cost that exceeds our "Approved Return Methods" stated above. All Returns shipped through USPS, UPS, Federal Express, Airborne, or other carrier service using an expedited shipping method such Next Day, 2'nd Day, or 3'rd Day services are void from reimbursement.


Return Processing Time:

* Upon receiving your return package, "All Items" must go through an inspection process before an exchange or refund can be processed. All returns are handled in the order which they are received. We will do our very best to process your return as quickly as possible. Uncontrollable fluctuations in the volume of returns coming into our facility may cause minor delays, and some returns may take between two to three weeks before a credit is applied back to your card / exchange items shipped.
We thank you for your patience in exchange for Window Toppers not having to charge any restocking / re-handling fees to returned items like other web sites apply.


RETURN INSTRUCTIONS

Please Ship all returns back to us within 30 days of receiving.
No Returns will be accepted after 30 days.

Please follow these easy steps to allow us to process your return quickly.

Please include a short note with your return and include the following information...

1.) Please state the Name, billing address, and daytime phone number which your order was placed / purchased under.(this is different from the shipping name and address if you provided us with an alternate shipping address)

2.) Please provide us with either your Sales Receipt # (example: 65234) you will find this number on the sales receipt which was shipped to you with your order) or Web Site order confirmation #(example: windowtoppers-65234)
You will also find this number in the email order confirmation that you were emailed when you placed your order online (subject line = windowtoppers-65234).

3.) Please state the nature of the return (example: "I Changed my mind about the color" - "it does not look right in my home." , or "I received the wrong item. I had ordered this --- & received this instead.")

4.) Please state how you would like us to handle your return...
*Would you like to be refunded for the purchased items in the form of a credit applied to your credit card used to purchase this order , or would you like to be issued a check?
**Would you like to exchange this item for another / correct/ or not damaged items.

5.) If You are returning an item(s) for exchange of products due to "A Customers Change of Mind", additional payment for products and shipping charges may be needed. Please include payment, or instructions / permission to process payment against your credit card (card used to place order or provide us with new card info) for the price difference between items returned & items exchanged as well as exchange shipping charges. If Window Topper should owe you money upon exchange of products minus deducted shipping charges, please provide us with permission to apply credit to your card or let us know if you would like a check issued to you.

Exchange shipping costs are configured as follows...
$ 7.00 for the first item (one item / pair / curtain set),
and $ 1.00 per each additional item ordered in exchange.
Example: if you are exchanging your order for 1 curtain set + 2 separate filler valances to be shipped back to you, your exchange shipping cost will total = $ 9.00 to be shipped via: UPS GROUND delivery method.

Avoid a 25% Reconditioning Fee for Pet Hairs / Foreign Matter !

Any item(s) returned to Window Toppers for exchange or refund which appear to be contaminated with "PET HAIR" or any "FOREIGN MATTER" which compromise the product's ability to be classified as New, must undergo a RECONDITIONING PROCESS.

** At which time Window Toppers reserves the right to charge or withhold from refund a Reconditioning Fee which is 25% of the purchase price at time of sale, for any product(s) which is determined by inspection to be in need of reconditioning.
*** If the reconditioning process is not able to restore any product(s) to it's "NEW" condition, Window Toppers reserves the right to charge the product's purchase price at time of sale in the case of an exchange, or deny a refund based on the compromised condition of the returned product(s).


- To avoid this problem, we advise customers to open packages and inspect and work with products on a "Clean & Dry Surface ".

Because these items are shipped from another facility outside of curtain factory in Fall River, Ma. , These items cannot be returned to our curtain factory in Fall River, MA.
We will except all returns for refund or exchange for any of these items.
